Electrical Approvals
Maax spas have Prescribed Article electrical approvals, as required by law, which also enables the spa to be insurable.

Maax spas have a circuit breaker. We build them in for your additional safety. Every spa should have one……

SVT Spa Jets
Maax spas have the latest in jet technology incorporating water-air mixing region increasing efficiency by 25%. The Spa Venturi Technology makes the jet feel softer yet it gives a more powerful massage. Constructed with a stainless steel metal pin, the SVT jet now offers a longer lasting jet, with the best of massage available in Australia today.

VDS Visual Diagnostic System
Maax spas have the new VDS control pack. This involves an inbuilt dashboard on the inside cabinet of you spa, providing an insight to the spa’s functionality. The new Maax VDS system will allow anyone to identify any equipment malfunctions within their spa.

Spa Heater
Maax spas have a Marine grade 316 stainless heater and Versi Heat capabilities. Keep an eye out for plastic heaters, for obvious reasons, they are definitely not the best performers. Maax offers a marine grade 316 metal heater combined with the new VDS Systems. This gives Maax the opportunity to offer Versi Heat, which in turn allows you to choose the strength of heater available on your spa.

Pumps
Does your spa pump match your Jets, to get the best power possible? Maax spas use single or two speed, 820 Litre / Minute. Jets to run at 10 – 13 PSI, we match our pumps to our jets.

Aqua Clean Filtration
Maax spas have the new Aqua clean filtration. This has been installed to all Maax models in the 2006 range. This allows the ultimate in filtration, water flow and easier cartridge access.

Blower
Maax spas have a 400W Whispair blower. This offers the same performance as a 1200W model. This unit offers heated air at a reduced running cost with a 3-year Warranty. A saving of up to 40% cheaper to run.

Ozone
Maax spas have Del Ozone which is up to 4 times more efficient than conventional ozone, with a 2 Year Warranty. Ozone is a cleaner more effective way to maintain and clean the spa water. It also cuts down the use of chlorine and chemicals used in the spa. Maax spa installs Del Ozone in all M, X And XS- Series Spas.

Shut Off Valves
Can the pump be removed from the spa without necessitating draining of the spa, reducing service call costs in the future? Maax Spa has installed Shut off valves for this purpose in particular.

Foam Insulation
Maax Spas have closed cell foam over the shell and plumbing. Double closed cell foaming has efficiency “R” Rating of 25. Maax Spa Double closed cell foams the shell and pipe work, therefore dramatically reduced running costs. It also locks in the soft plumbing, eliminating movement when the powerful pump starts.

Waffle Pads
Maax spas have noise reduction installed. Maax Spa installs Waffle pads underneath its equipment, this absorbs the vibration and sounds that may be caused by pumps etc…

Depth of Spa
Is the spa an adequate depth? i.e.: Is the water up to your shoulders when sitting.

Cabinet Structure
Maax spas cabinet is 20mm Western Red Cedar with galvanized steel brackets in all corners, top and bottom with a 10 Year Structural Warranty.

Timber Preservation
Has the entire cabinet been dipped into a preservative? Maax provides an anti-fungal UV inhibitor and timber preservative with added cedar preservative, to help maintain the Cedar cabinet and its outdoor durability.

Hard Cover
Maax spas have 100 Kg Lockable hard cover. Be aware of the industry standard 25kg lockable hard cover. Maax Spa only uses a heavy-duty 100 kg weight cover that holds up to 100kg static weight.

ABS Base
Maax spas feature an ABS Base making it vermin proof. Maax spa provides ABS Basing on all its spas. This protects the spa from Vermin and also helps maintain the heat inside the spa.

Exercise or Therapy Jet
Maax spas feature an exercise or therapy jet. In all our M-Series Maax offers the Exercise Jet and a more powerful version in our X & XS ranges. This enables you to tone and repair worn and torn muscles with resistance against the high-pressure jet for even stronger Hydrotherapy benefits.

Plumbing Hoses
Maax spas have Virgin Plastic Food Carrying Approved Hose which is glued & clamped to manifold barbs, thus our 3 Year No Leak Warranty. Maax Uses VPP (Virgin Plastic Piping) on every spa including the air hose, watch out for the common Garden Hose and un-sanitized piping.

Glue & Clamping
Maax spas hoses (pipes) on your spa are glued and clamped. Only specifically designed high pressure glues are used on all plumbing fittings. Maax Spa also uses self-tensioning clamps on all water flow pipe work, making the pipe work secure for years to come .
